Last Day On Earth: Getting Through Day One

When trying to survive in a world that wants to eliminate you, the scariest part of it all is being alone; having no one to rely on and depending on yourself for everything. This is just like the experience you will get when you first play that Last day on Earth: Survival.

Stranded In The Middle of a Forest

The game will first thrust you amidst fear and confusion in a forest full of trees, rocks, and clumps of grass. Trust me, you will not even be appropriately dressed for the "occasion". All you will have on will be a wanting pair of red boxer shorts.

Look closely and you will notice an abandoned pickup truck that has probably rusted away. Inside it lies two ropes, three scrap metal, a cleaver and thick jacket-one that you really need! And just like that, day one begins! From here, you will have to decide what to do, where to go and most importantly, how to survive against the zombies.

First Things First!

Last day on Earth: Survival is built on the premise of crafting and resource gathering. Therefore, you should gather all appropriate resources in your starting area. Remember, this point will also act as your base as it is free from the zombies- but not for long. Just as in real life, east or west your home base will always be best.

You are free to set up a house and anything that is found here remains. When you visit your "crafting menu", a pickaxe and hatchet will be readily available for you. Of course, these weapons come in handy when gathering resources. The inventory button will also let you know
what you currently have, your health status, thirst, and other statistics.

Start Building That Cozy Home

No one wants to stay out in the cold, thus, building your home is only the most obvious thing to do. The structure will protect you from all the chaos that is about to befall you. Scared yet? You should be!

Now it is time to put your carpentry skills to good use. By the push of a button, you will preview a number of building options and you are free to choose whichever you prefer, provided you have enough wood. Items like a saw and hammer will get you started. Do not forget to place floors, walls, and windows in your house.

Settle In!

The next step is for you to settle into your new home once you are done with the building. It is safe to say that this is the most comfortable you will be in quite a while. The chaos will begin at any time, therefore, take in the silence while you still can. The beauty of Last day on Earth: Survival is that everything does not need to take place in one day.

Unlike other games, you will not have to start from the beginning the next time you press 'play'. As a new player, you can simply end your first day with your completed house. There are many more levels to get through as you progress and even more interesting things to look forward to. For now-good luck staying alive!
